Bhagalpur is one of the oldest cities of Bihar, a prominent state located in eastern India. Known as the ‘Silk City’ of the country, it holds religious as well as historical importance, apart from being home to a large number of tourist attractions. Situated on the banks of river Ganges, Bhagalpur boasts of highly fertile land. In the present time, it serves as the educational center of Bihar, where students migrate from neighboring states, for their higher studies.
Born and brough up in Bhramarpur,Bhagalpur. I spent most of time till 12th in village, so I have special emotions and affection towards my village. Presently based abroad, but tend to settle in my home town in next 5-7 years. Things which I miss the most about Bhagalpur is holy dip in the holy river Ganga, walking in the lanes of Tilkamanjhi, Khalifabag chauk, Bhagalpur raiway station. What I miss the most currently is the food there. No need to say the quality of Milk and Curd their. I also miss the great kite flying day on 14th April every year.
